We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and team.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the building, car park, and surrounding areas to identify safety hazards or suspicious activities.
- Assist with managing guest entry during peak hours and coordinate with parking staff for orderly vehicle movement.
- Maintain a visible and reassuring presence to ensure the safety of all guests, diners, and employees.
- Enforce safety and security policies, including fire safety measures and restricted-area guidelines.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and perimeter gates to ensure only authorized personnel gain entry.
- Respond quickly and professionally to emergencies or conflicts, and document any security incidents for management.
Requirements
- Minimum of a First School Leaving Cert (FSLC) or SSCE.
- Previous security experience in a hotel, restaurant, lounge, or corporate environment is an added advantage.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Good physical fitness, alertness, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
