About the role
Elite Talent Placement is looking for a SAP FICO Super User to join their team in Lagos. This full-time position sits within the Finance & Controlling / IT-Business Systems department. You will act as the bridge between Finance, end users, and the IT support team. The role requires occasional domestic travel.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support and guidance to SAP FICO end users.
- Support Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and Controlling processes.
- Assist with integration between SAP Production Planning and FICO modules.
- Help with month-end and year-end closing, financial postings, and reporting.
- Participate in system testing, upgrades, and SAP implementation projects.
- Develop user guides, SOPs, and train new and existing users.
- Maintain accurate financial data and ensure compliance with Nigerian tax requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5 – 8 years of overall finance or business systems experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience in a live environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP AR, AP, GL, AA, and CO modules.
- Practical understanding of SAP PP integration with FICO.
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations (VAT and WHT) and statutory reporting.
- ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
- SAP S/4HANA experience is an added advantage.
