About the role
MykroGrid is a clean energy company dedicated to expanding access to reliable and affordable power solutions across underserved communities and businesses in Nigeria. The company specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar energy systems for homes, commercial establishments, and institutions.
They are currently looking for fresh graduates or NYSC corps members to join their Sales Trainee Programme. This is an opportunity for confident and ambitious individuals to kick-start their careers in the renewable energy sector while developing technical and sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to prospective clients via calls, emails, social media, and in-person engagements to schedule qualified appointments.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of leads by identifying and engaging decision-makers in target markets.
- Collaborate with the product marketing team to understand campaigns and ensure prospects receive clear information.
- Track and report daily outreach activity, appointment conversions, and campaign effectiveness to management.
- Work with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified appointments and support the sales cycle.
- Gather and share feedback from prospects to help refine marketing campaigns and product positioning.
Requirements
- Minimum of ND / OND, HND, or BSc Degree.
- No prior experience required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to engage customers through in-person sales and marketing.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
