About the role
Erisco Foods Limited is an indigenous Nigerian food manufacturer established in 2004, producing items such as tomato paste, seasonings, rice, and milk cubes. We are looking for a dedicated Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team in Onitsha, Anambra. This full-time position focuses on driving sales, managing stock availability, and representing our brand at industry events.
Responsibilities
- Ensure stock availability for sales and product demonstrations.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on company products.
- Generate regular reviews and reports using sales and financial data.
- Represent the company at exhibitions and conferences.
- Negotiate deals, close sales, and handle customer complaints or objections.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals.
- Gather customer feedback and share insights with internal teams.
- Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
- Seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential customers to understand their needs.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in a relevant discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of work experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Fast learner with a passion for sales.
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a relevant role.
- Must reside in Onitsha.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
