About the role
Elite Talent Placements is hiring two Sales Managers to lead revenue growth for its paper packaging business. This mid-level to senior position is based in Ogun State. You will focus on expanding distribution channels, developing new markets, and building strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key customers. The company prioritizes candidates with strong networks in open markets and relevant packaging sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand presence in traditional and open markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail customers.
- Drive sales of paper packaging products based on market demand.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value deals.
- Collaborate with Production and Operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor sales performance and submit regular reports to management.
- Recruit, train, and supervise sales representatives as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in traditional or open market sales is mandatory.
- Experience in food packaging sales, particularly paper or plastic packaging, is highly preferred.
- Strong network within open markets, wholesale channels, and distributor networks.
- Previous experience in a mid-level or senior sales management role.
- Experience in packaging, FMCG, or related industries is an advantage.
- Strong skills in sales negotiation, business development, and customer relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and meet aggressive targets in competitive markets.
