About the role
Phillips Outsourcing Limited is seeking a Risk, Compliance & Assurance Manager to join their team in Lekki, Lagos. With over 16 years of experience, the company manages resources for major clients across Nigeria and is expanding into other African nations. This full-time position focuses on driving continuous improvement in outsourced services through robust risk and compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) policy, risk register, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Facilitate quarterly and event-driven risk assessments for new clients and significant changes.
- Manage the regulatory and contractual obligations register, including assigning owners and review dates.
- Coordinate ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 calendars, management reviews, and internal-audit schedules.
- Oversee policy-governance standards, the central policy register, and approval workflows.
- Set the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and business-continuity methodology and coordinate exercises.
- Monitor complaints, non-conformities, and recurring root causes.
- Prepare risk, compliance, and quality content for monthly and quarterly reports.
- Coach risk owners to support a practical, risk-aware culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Law, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in risk, compliance, quality, audit, or governance.
- 3 years leading workstreams in outsourcing, payroll, professional services, or regulated-client environments.
- One of the following professional qualifications or equivalent: ACA, ACCA, CIA, CRMA, IRM, or ISO 9001 / ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
- Technical knowledge of ERM, compliance registers, QMS/ISMS coordination, policy governance, BIA/BCM, and Board reporting.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal skills.
