About the role
Timekeepers International Limited is a Nigerian company established in 2009 that imports and retails watches, jewelry, and accessories from leading global brands. We are looking for a dedicated Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Owerri, Imo. This is a full-time position focused on delivering excellent customer service and driving sales in a retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Attend to customers and clients with professionalism and care.
- Handle inquiries about the company and its products positively.
- Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure market penetration.
- Serve walk-in buyers effectively to convert them into return customers.
- Represent the company’s interests both within and outside working hours.
- Promote sales and maintain strong customer relations.
- Stay updated on information about the brands sold.
- Perform merchandising duties.
- Prepare weekly reports and provide rapid after-sales service.
- Handle any other responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Please note that this role requires long hours of standing.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND qualification.
- Completed mandatory NYSC program or valid exemption letter.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work in supervisory and negotiation roles.
- Good knowledge of the retail market environment.
- Experience in retail sales is highly desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft applications.
- Must reside in or around Owerri, Imo.
