About the role
Dicalo Consulting Group is a management consulting firm offering services such as business setup, accounting, and tax advisory. We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Lekki, Lagos. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring work from Monday to Saturday.
In this role, you will drive business growth by leading sales efforts in retail and corporate gifting. You will also oversee custom gifting services and collaborate with other teams to expand our market reach.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and send tailored business proposals and service decks to potential clients.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team KPIs.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to generate leads.
- Manage pricing strategy, sales forecasting, and budget planning with operations.
- Oversee customization and personalization services to ensure brand alignment.
- Identify new business opportunities in corporate gifting, events, and high-end retail.
- Monitor sales metrics and adjust tactics based on performance data.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to align offerings with market trends.
- Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market reach.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably in gifting, retail, or lifestyle.
- Proven track record of generating leads, closing high-value deals, and meeting sales targets.
- Strong leadership, team management, and performance coaching abilities.
- Exceptional proposal writing, client presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, pipeline management, and digital sales platforms.
- Experience with premium, custom, or personalized products is a strong advantage.
