About the role
J-Six Group is a multi-industry company with a strong presence in Lagos, operating in FMCG distribution, agribusiness, and quick service restaurants. We are looking for three dedicated Restaurant Supervisors to join our team at our Ijora, Abijo, and Lekki Phase 1 locations. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in maintaining high service standards and leading your team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen production and ensure all service standards are met.
- Review and sign off on weekly paperwork and production records.
- Manage shift opening and closing procedures, including requisitions.
- Maintain daily cleanliness of the premises.
- Monitor the facility to ensure quality service and take corrective action when needed.
- Handle customer interactions positively and resolve issues effectively.
- Provide clear direction and communicate effectively with staff.
- Observe staff performance and encourage continuous improvement.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and staff are trained on proper usage.
- Demonstrate positive leadership to inspire the team.
Requirements
- A tertiary degree is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
- Experience as a team lead or supervisor in a fast food restaurant.
- Ability to delegate tasks and follow through to completion.
- Proactive approach with the ability to use initiative.
- Flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts.
- Knowledge of Excel and iClass is an added advantage.
- Candidates must reside in close proximity to the work location, as accommodation is not provided.
