About the role
A hospitality company in Lagos is looking for an experienced and energetic Restaurant Manager. You will lead daily operations and ensure consistently high standards of food and beverage service. This full-time role requires strong operational leadership and a focus on guest satisfaction, cost control, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily service, opening and closing routines, and smooth restaurant operations.
- Enforce service procedures and coordinate with the kitchen and other departments.
- Prepare duty rosters, deploy staffing levels, and manage team performance.
- Build relationships with regular customers and resolve complaints promptly.
- Control food and beverage costs, stock usage, and wastage.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant restaurant experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
- Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and guest relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems, stock controls, and sales reports.
