About the role
Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) is a Federal Tertiary Health Institution dedicated to providing health promotion, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. We are currently seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join our team as a Residency Trainee in Psychiatry. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to excellence in clinical services, training, and research within a leading healthcare facility in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Undertake residency training in Psychiatry under the supervision of senior consultants.
- Provide clinical care and support to patients in the psychiatry department.
- Participate in teaching, research, and community health initiatives as required.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and professional medical standards.
Requirements
- Evidence of graduation from an accredited medical school (MBBS).
- Evidence of full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Evidence of passing the primary examination of either the National or West African Postgraduate Medical College in Psychiatry.
- Evidence of a current annual practicing license.
- Evidence of NYSC discharge certificate or exemption.
