About the role
Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) is a Federal Tertiary Health Institution dedicated to providing health promotion, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. We are currently seeking a qualified Residency Trainee in Ophthalmology to join our training program.
Responsibilities
- Undertake residency training in Ophthalmology.
- Contribute to patient care and clinical services at JUTH.
- Participate in research and academic activities as required.
- May be posted to JUTH Community Health Centre in Zamko, Gindini, JUTH Trauma Centre in Riyom, or JUTH Clinic at the Federal Secretariat.
Requirements
- Evidence of current annual practicing license.
- Evidence of full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Evidence of graduation from an accredited medical school (MBBS).
- Evidence of passing the primary examination of either the National or West African Postgraduate Medical College in Ophthalmology.
- Evidence of NYSC discharge certificate or exemption.
