About the role
Accor Hotel is seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented Reservation Agent to join the team at Movenpick Hotel Ikoyi Lagos. In this position, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by handling reservations, responding to inquiries, and providing personalized services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage hotel room reservations efficiently and accurately.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding room availability, rates, and amenities.
- Upsell hotel services and amenities to maximize revenue.
- Provide personalized assistance to guests before, during, and after their stay.
- Handle special requests and VIP arrangements to ensure a memorable guest experience.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and requests.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Prepare reports on reservations, occupancy, and guest feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions.
Requirements
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and software (Resaweb, Opera Cloud) is essential.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexible availability to work during the week, including weekends.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in hotel reservations or a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of the local area, attractions, and events is an advantage.
- Additional education or training in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
