About the role
Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Lead Regional Services Manager based in Lagos, Nigeria. This full-time, hybrid role reports to the Senior Manager of Africa Services. You will oversee service delivery and technical support for UOP customers in the refining, petrochemical, and gas sectors, working closely with the sales organization to drive customer value and service growth.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary service contact for assigned customers, building relationships across operating, technical, and management teams.
- Establish and maintain account-level service plans that define customer needs, deliverables, and timelines.
- Coordinate the tracking of service commitments under active agreements and ensure deliverables are completed and documented.
- Own the customer-facing response to technical service requests, from problem definition through documented closure.
- Coordinate support for new-unit start-ups, catalyst reloads, turnarounds, and inspections.
- Manage assigned service opportunities from needs identification through proposal coordination and closure.
- Maintain accurate service-demand forecasts and staffing projections.
- Travel approximately 40% of the time to domestic and international customer locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 8+ years of chemical engineering experience.
- 6+ years of experience in the Refining, Petrochemicals, and Gas industries.
- Significant experience with two or more UOP process technologies is strongly preferred.
- Proven expertise in chemical engineering principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and influence others and collaborate across business units.
