About the role
Breedwell Feeds Limited is looking for an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations across Northern Nigeria. This full-time position is based in Abuja (FCT) and focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing distributor networks within the poultry feeds sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet revenue, volume, and market share targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
- Create regional sales forecasts, budgets, and action plans, and report performance to management.
- Ensure the effective implementation of sales policies, promotional activities, and customer service standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, poultry farmers, dealers, and key customers.
- Monitor distributor performance, customer payments, credit exposure, and outstanding receivables with Finance.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate regional sales representatives to achieve individual and team targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in poultry feeds, animal nutrition, or the livestock industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales team leadership or regional sales management.
- Strong understanding of the Northern Nigerian poultry market and distributor network.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, analytical, and relationship-management skills.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing key accounts.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
