Jaza Energy is a solar energy start-up empowering communities in Sub-Saharan Africa with clean, affordable energy. We are expanding our presence in Nigeria and growing our team to support this growth. The Regional Coordinator is a line manager and regional business owner who reports to the Country Business Operations Lead. You will oversee regional operations, manage profitability, and lead the recruitment and coaching of your team.
Responsibilities
- Manage regional profit and loss by implementing growth plans and controlling costs.
- Oversee regional inventory management and ensure compliance with policies.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and performance management of regional Jaza Stars and Super Stars.
- Develop quarterly and monthly plans to grow active customers and revenue.
- Resolve service interruptions and customer complaints at the Hub level.
- Coordinate with Tech Stars to resolve technical issues and ensure Hub uptime.
- Build relationships with local government officials and represent the company in legal affairs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Sales and Business Development.
- Deep understanding of last-mile community sales and customer acquisition.
- Experience managing and motivating junior sales executives.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills for data interpretation.
