About the role
Talent Spur Advisory is hiring on behalf of a client in the cosmetics, beauty, and FMCG sector. This is a full-time, field-based role based in Lagos that involves extensive business travel. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market coverage, and building strong relationships with trade partners across the region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue and distribution targets.
- Identify and activate new distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Expand product availability and visibility in new markets.
- Monitor distributor performance, stock movement, and market coverage.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Track competitor activity, pricing, and customer trends.
- Support collections and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare sales and market intelligence reports with actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in FMCG sales, business development, or distribution.
- Mandatory experience in both the cosmetics industry and FMCG.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing distributor networks.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian trade channels and route-to-market strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
