About the role
WTS Energy provides recruitment and manpower services for the global oil and gas and energy industries. We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources department in Lagos. This role focuses on supporting and coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure the organization attracts, assesses, and hires qualified candidates in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and recommend qualified candidates through various recruitment channels.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, candidate communication, and background verification.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and selection criteria.
- Manage relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment agencies.
- Prepare recruitment documentation, employment offers, and pre-employment records.
- Maintain recruitment records, trackers, and candidate databases.
- Drive proactive candidate sourcing to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality requirements, and fair recruitment practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related HR role.
- Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, or oil & gas roles is an advantage.
- Proficiency in HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
