About the role
Tilden Development Limited specializes in innovative residential, hospitality, and commercial developments in Lagos. We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage cost planning, budgeting, and financial control for construction projects.
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess contractor payment applications.
- Monitor project costs and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts, variations, and final accounts.
- Resolve cost-related disputes and provide professional advice.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Prepare regular cost reports and financial statements for management.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contracts.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Professional certification (e.g., NIQS, RICS) is an added advantage.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
