About the role
Alan & Grant is recruiting on behalf of an indigenous Oil and Gas Engineering and Construction service company specializing in pipelines and facilities. The Quality Coordinator will lead the implementation of project quality management systems. You will ensure that all project activities, materials, and deliverables meet approved specifications, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate quality inspections, tests, audits, and verification activities with project teams.
- Manage corrective and preventive actions, tracking their closure.
- Review quality records, inspection reports, material certificates, and test results.
- Implement project quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
- Support testing, commissioning, mechanical completion, and final handover documentation.
- Monitor subcontractors’ quality performance and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify, document, and resolve non-conformances.
- Maintain quality registers, inspection records, and performance reports.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and inspectors on quality-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- 4–6 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in oil and gas or industrial construction.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant oil and gas standards.
- Experience with quality plans, ITPs, inspection records, and corrective action processes.
- Strong analytical, documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant quality management or inspection certifications are an advantage.
