About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is a Human Resource Solution Provider based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to help ensure that raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet established quality, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sensory evaluation of finished products.
- Monitor production processes and perform routine in-process quality checks.
- Carry out physicochemical and microbial analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant quality control experience, preferably in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of GMP, food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
