About the role
Vampa Technologies is a leading Nigerian luxury fashion house known for bridal couture, bespoke tailoring, and premium ready-to-wear collections. They are looking for a Quality Control Officer to ensure all products meet their high standards of craftsmanship and quality. This is a full-time position based in Victoria Island, Lagos, with a work schedule from Monday to Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming fabrics, embellishments, and materials for defects and compliance with specifications.
- Conduct quality checks at every stage of production, including cutting, stitching, and assembly.
- Examine finished bridal gowns, bespoke outfits, and ready-to-wear pieces for fit, finishing, and detailing.
- Support quality assessments during client fittings and alterations.
- Maintain inspection records, track recurring defects, and report findings to management.
- Collaborate with tailors, pattern cutters, and production teams to enhance quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Diploma, HND, or degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, Textile Technology, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in quality control or assurance within fashion, garment manufacturing, bridal couture, or bespoke tailoring.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching, fitting, and finishing.
- Experience inspecting luxury fabrics, embellishments, and delicate materials.
- Sharp attention to detail, analytical thinking, and clear communication skills.
- A collaborative, accountable, and professional approach to work.
