About the role
Resource Intermediaries Limited is a professional management firm with over 18 years of experience in Human Resource Services, including training, recruiting, and payroll management. They are currently seeking a Quality Control Officer to join their team in Ilupeju, Lagos. This is a full-time position within the financial institution industry.
Responsibilities
- Collate and execute exception reports and other performance reports accurately and on time.
- Identify and pursue formal and informal training opportunities to develop professional skills.
- Stay updated on new products and procedures through workshops and internal communications.
- Drive innovative ideas to reduce operating costs.
- Assist in developing and improving the Ledgers area to ensure effective functioning and high output.
- Initiate cost-reduction measures and ensure budgets for the Account Maintenance area are met.
- Maximize throughput by applying Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to improve processes.
- Maintain cooperative and supportive relationships with team members.
- Stay abreast of new policies and procedures.
Requirements
- BSc in Finance and Accounting (Third Class or Pass not accepted).
- Maximum age of 27 years.
- 1-2 years of experience in the Accounting field.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Accounting Software packages.
- Willingness to work in Ilupeju, Lagos.
