About the role
Chilis Restaurant is a 24-hour establishment dedicated to providing high-quality food and service. We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Officer to join our team in Sango Ota, Ogun. This full-time position offers a monthly salary of N100,000. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with chefs and management to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
- Assist the cashier when needed to ensure customer needs are met.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas to maintain a safe environment.
- Educate staff on product quality and implement necessary quality control procedures.
- Ensure the restaurant meets all food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Verify that dishes are prepared according to recipes and preparation standards.
- Monitor the environment to ensure it remains neat and all utensils are clean.
- Monitor raw material usage and control wastage.
- Review customer feedback and complaints to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor food handling, storage, and preparation to prevent contamination.
- Inspect the quality and freshness of ingredients received from suppliers.
Requirements
- Managerial and leadership skills.
- Culinary experience.
- Proximity to Ojuirin Sango Ota is preferred.
- Availability to resume immediately.
