About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is a Human Resource Solution Provider based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Executive to join our team in Apapa, Lagos. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring that PVC pipes and raw materials meet strict quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test PVC pipes and raw materials for compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to identify defects or quality deviations.
- Conduct dimensional, physical, and performance tests on finished products.
- Maintain quality control records and prepare inspection reports.
- Investigate product defects, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety procedures, and internal quality policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve product quality and minimize waste.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, HND, or equivalent in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality control within a PVC pipe manufacturing environment is mandatory.
- Knowledge of PVC pipe testing procedures, product specifications, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate quality records and work effectively with production teams.
