About the role
Lightread Consulting is recruiting a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service. This full-time position is based in Gbagada Phase 1, Lagos, and follows a one-day-on, one-day-off work schedule. The role is open to female candidates, with a preference for those with experience in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
Responsibilities
- Monitor food quality, preparation, packaging, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular checks on kitchen and service operations.
- Ensure staff follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
- Monitor portion control, cleanliness, and product consistency.
- Identify and report quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain daily quality and inspection reports.
Requirements
- Previous QSR or restaurant experience is required.
- Experience in Quality Assurance or quality control within the food service industry.
- Good observation, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to enforce operational and hygiene standards.
- Willingness to work a one-day-on, one-day-off schedule.
- Female candidates are preferred.
