About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join their team in Ilupeju, Lagos. This full-time position reports to the Head of Quality Assurance. You will oversee quality control activities across flexible packaging production processes, ensuring that raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products meet established standards and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor quality control activities in printing, lamination, slitting, and pouch making.
- Identify production defects and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
- Manage quality activities during assigned shifts.
Requirements
- B.Sc., HND, B.Tech., M.Sc., or a relevant diploma in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Packaging Technology, Printing Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the flexible packaging or packaging manufacturing industry.
- Practical knowledge of printing, lamination, slitting, and pouch-making operations.
- Experience in laboratory testing and quality inspection of flexible packaging materials.
- Familiarity with NCR documentation, root cause analysis, CAPA, and customer quality requirements.
- Good analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
