About the role
DuoTech HR Consulting is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to serve as the primary field operations representative in assigned markets. This full-time position is available in Maitama, Abuja (FCT) and Lagos, with five openings currently available. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of customer orders from placement through dispatch.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of orders within the assigned market.
- Verify goods against customer specifications, including item, quantity, quality, freshness, and size, before dispatch.
- Inspect products for freshness, spoilage, damage, or contamination and escalate issues promptly.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve order discrepancies, substitutions, and quality concerns.
- Support vendor onboarding, verification, and market activation activities.
- Capture field data, order information, and quality observations using digital tools.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, rejected items, and vendor issues.
- Submit accurate daily activity and operational reports to the City Team Lead.
Requirements
- Minimum HND in Food Science, Agribusiness, Nutrition, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance, food quality, market operations, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong fresh graduates with demonstrable practical market or field exposure may be considered.
- Practical knowledge of food freshness, spoilage, grading, and product quality assessment.
- Smartphone proficiency for data capture, photography, and reporting.
- Good communication skills, strong integrity, and the ability to work independently in a busy environment.
