As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance across our operations in Enugu.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the facility’s Quality Management System in line with national regulatory standards like NAFDAC and SON.
- Review and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and validation protocols to ensure data integrity.
- Lead investigations into manufacturing deviations, out-of-specification results, and customer complaints, implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
- Plan internal self-inspections, qualify external suppliers, and lead the facility during official regulatory inspections.
- Oversee the qualification and validation of manufacturing equipment and critical plant processes (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Conduct final reviews of production data and authorize the market release of pharmaceutical batches.
- Manage the Quality department staff and oversee comprehensive GMP training matrices for personnel across departments.
Requirements
- Preferred qualification: BSc, HND, or B.Pharm in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent understanding of cGMP and Quality Management Systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft Office equivalents.
- Strong leadership, integrity, and attention to detail.
