About the role
LifeCare Connect Nigeria Limited is the commercial entity for the Ancestra Group, operating platforms like Ancestra Health and QualiSentinel. We are establishing our founding operations base in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with a launch targeted for January 2027. This is a full-time, permanent position within the Quality Management and JAPAC Accreditation department, reporting to the Business Development Team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily execution and continuous improvement of the Group’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
- Lead the Company-Wide Internal Audit Programme and prepare inputs for Management Reviews.
- Track nonconformities and corrective actions across the Group.
- Maintain the Master Document Register and ensure document-control discipline.
- Serve as the technical lead for JAPAC Accreditation client engagements, including ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189, and ISO/IEC 17020 frameworks.
- Coordinate external assessments, surveillance audits, and certification-body relationships.
- Act as an independent reviewer for pre-release verification and design-review gates.
- Champion quality culture and ISO 9001 competency training across all departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific, quality, or engineering discipline.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (IRCA or equivalent) is required.
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO 15189 is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality management or accreditation, ideally in a laboratory, healthcare, or certification-body environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Nigerian accreditation frameworks and international standards bodies.
- Excellent documentation, audit, and analytical skills.
