About the role
WTS Energy is hiring a QA/QC Officer to work in Lekki, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on maintaining high quality standards within engineering, construction, and energy infrastructure environments. You will be responsible for managing quality systems, inspection procedures, and project quality management.
Responsibilities
- Compile and maintain test reports, inspection records, and handover documentation.
- Raise, track, and close out non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs) according to project requirements.
- Apply root-cause analysis to quality issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Support the implementation of quality systems and ISO 9001 principles.
- Conduct routine site inspections to monitor contractor workmanship and material quality.
- Contribute to internal and external quality audits and document findings.
- Liaise with project and contractor teams to communicate quality requirements.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in QA/QC, site inspection, or project quality management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or HND in Quality Management, Construction Management, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience monitoring contractor workmanship and material quality.
- Practical knowledge of ISO 9001, ITPs, NCRs, and technical drawings.
- Preferred: Root-cause analysis experience or quality auditing certification.
