QA / QC & HSE Manager at Sisa Method Limited

About the role

Sisa Method Limited is developing the Ajaokuta Mini Project in Kogi State. This is a planned 7 MMscfd mini facility where site works are currently underway. Plant equipment is in transit from China, and the target for first gas is April 2027, subject to readiness and approvals. The company is building a lean, high-accountability execution team and is looking for a QA/QC & HSE Manager to join them.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the project quality plan, inspection and test plans, hold points, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain incident, near-miss, and corrective-action registers, and verify that actions are closed.
  • Coordinate receipt inspections for equipment arriving from China and manage non-conformance reports through to closure.
  • Coordinate with process-safety specialists and OEMs on hazard studies, safeguards, and readiness for hazardous-fluid introduction.
  • Conduct risk-based site surveillance and witness designated hold and witness points.
  • Implement the project HSE plan, including inductions, permit-to-work, risk assessments, lifting safety, and emergency response.
  • Maintain environmental and social compliance records and promote stop-work authority across the site.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of QA/QC and HSE experience on oil and gas, process, or industrial construction projects.
  • The independence and courage to stop unsafe work.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, HSE, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian HSE and environmental regulations.
  • Recognised HSE qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • QA/QC inspector certification (e.g. CSWIP, ASNT, API) is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of process safety, permit-to-work, hazardous-area, and pressure-system requirements.
