Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing work, projects, policies, and standards across departments.
- Ensure sanitation compliance and maintain safety standards per brand guidelines.
- Verify invoices against shipments for quantity, quality, and specifications.
- Maintain inventory controls, including dating, rotation, and requisitions.
- Communicate with kitchen management and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
- Assist the Executive Chef in purchasing food, beverage, and controllable items.
- Calculate food and beverage inventory figures and complete period-end inventories.
- Ensure accurate administration of invoices and adherence to bookkeeping procedures.
- Monitor taxes and ensure they are current, collected, or accrued.
- Support property operations by reviewing guest satisfaction data and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major.
- OR a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Purchasing or a related field.
- Nigerian local citizenship is required.
