About the role
Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to oversee automation and digitalization projects in Nigeria. This full-time position is based in Lagos. You will coordinate project execution, customer engagement, and site delivery to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will work closely with customers, contractors, and internal teams from project kick-off through final acceptance.
Responsibilities
- Manage automation and control system projects across the full lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, and close-out.
- Support commercial success through contract management, cost tracking, and risk monitoring.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders during execution.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and start-up activities with field resources and contractors.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain, and field services.
- Identify and manage risks related to safety, schedule, cost, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial automation, engineering, or capital project environments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects or project workstreams.
- Experience supporting industrial projects through engineering, execution, commissioning, and handover.
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
