About the role
Scruples Resources Limited is a leading provider of oil and gas support services in Lagos, Nigeria. We offer consultancy, logistics, procurement, engineering, and training solutions. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves providing technical support, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating project activities under immediate supervision.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Invitation to Tender (ITT) development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
- Coordinate the development of Functional Interaction Plans and CCAP Gate 3 deliverables.
- Ensure design and construction align with project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate project issue resolution and change request processes.
- Lead the Project Management Team in applying project management systems.
- Serve as the interface between the Project Team and Contractors.
- Provide technical support for engineering processes and design evaluations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- BS or MS degree in an engineering field.
- Experience in engineering, construction, and project management controls.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English proficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage heavy workloads.
