About the role
TeamAce Limited is hiring a Project Engineer to manage factory construction projects for a reputable client in the manufacturing and agro-processing sector. Based in Shagamu, Ogun, this full-time role focuses on ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise factory construction and development projects from start to finish.
- Manage contractors, consultants, vendors, budgets, timelines, and project resources.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with approved designs, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to meet operational specifications.
- Monitor project progress, resolve construction challenges, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; candidates with relevant engineering backgrounds may also be considered.
- Proven experience managing construction projects, particularly for factories and industrial facilities.
- Experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing sector, preferably with organizations like Power Oil or GB Foods.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required or strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, contractor management, budgeting, quality control, and project execution.
