About the role
Juhel Nigeria Limited is a pioneer pharmaceutical manufacturer in West Africa, founded in 1987. The company is committed to increasing access to quality essential medicines and currently holds over 150 registered products. They are seeking a Production Pharmacist to join their team in Enugu on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities according to approved schedules.
- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Monitor production processes, including dispensing, tableting, filling, packaging, and labelling.
- Maintain accurate batch manufacturing records and production documentation.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments to ensure product quality.
- Monitor production equipment for proper cleaning, maintenance, and usage.
- Identify and report production deviations and process-related issues.
- Enforce personnel hygiene, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm).
- Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides or equivalent Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of cGMP and pharmaceutical production processes.
