About the role
EIDU is looking for a Product Support Officer to join its Operations team. This position focuses on ensuring that EIDU’s digital platform, devices, and applications work reliably in schools across Nigeria. You will provide proactive technical support to maintain high product usage and prevent disruptions to learning.
Responsibilities
- Monitor product usage across schools to identify areas where performance is below expectations and diagnose the root cause.
- Resolve syncing failures and data-flow issues to ensure accurate data capture and dashboard reporting.
- Establish protocols for reliable operation in low-connectivity and offline environments, including data recovery steps.
- Track device health, storage, and software updates across the fleet, coordinating with partners for maintenance and repairs.
- Build monitoring systems and alerts to flag emerging issues before they escalate into major problems.
- Resolve user concerns by maintaining clear communication and collaborating with internal teams.
- Train and mentor internal teams on product topics to help them resolve routine issues independently.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technology operations or product support, ideally in education or field-based technology programs.
- Strong product and tech support skills, with the ability to distinguish between field, connectivity, device, or product-side issues.
- Strong data fluency, including the ability to build, read, and act on dashboards to make operational decisions.
- Practical troubleshooting ability across mobile applications, Android devices, and connectivity.
- Understanding of data syncing and offline-first operation in low-connectivity environments is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work across teams, including field staff, data teams, and external partners.
- Clear communication skills to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel to schools and field sites as required.
