Responsibilities
- Analyze product and economic trends to prepare reporting and recommendations based on user requirements.
- Monitor product utilization and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Apply leading and lagging measures to assess portfolio performance and identify gaps.
- Conduct risk analysis for allocated portfolios and advise line management.
- Source and transform data from internal and external sources (e.g., Credit Bureau) to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to automate standard reports and improve customer profitability.
- Implement and maintain performance dashboards for allocated portfolios.
- Monitor pricing trends to inform minimum and recommended pricing strategies.
- Prepare and present reports with recommendations to relevant committees.
- Provide input into product target setting, campaign briefs, and digital modernization efforts.
- Track product performance and guide tactical implementation of initiatives to improve results.
Requirements
- First Degree in Finance and Accounting or Mathematical Sciences.
- 7 to 13 years of experience in analyzing economic trends and preparing reporting for product portfolios.
- Experience in sourcing data and translating it into usable formats.
- Experience in scenario analysis and exposure to actuarial, mathematical, financial, or statistical modelling.
- Practical experience within banking is advantageous.
- Strong competencies in business acumen, product knowledge, financial acumen, and project management.
