About the role
Caava Group is a holding company transforming the African insurance landscape by modernizing legacy operations and expanding digital distribution. As a Product / Delivery Business Analyst, you will serve as a key connection between clients and development teams. You will ensure project requirements are clearly defined and effectively translated into software solutions. This hybrid role is based in Lagos and reports to the Support Lead.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and document detailed business requirements.
- Assist in first-line diagnosis of incidents and service requests.
- Investigate and diagnose software-related problems, providing timely resolutions or escalating as needed.
- Utilize analytical tools to identify patterns, root causes, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in testing and quality assurance activities to validate fixes before deployment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issue resolution processes and customer interactions.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings to communicate updates on ongoing issues.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives by creating training materials and FAQs.
- Support interns during their internship programs and participate in performance management processes.
Requirements
- A degree-level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, B-Com, or a similar field.
- Certification in information technology or software business analysis.
- Understanding of software development methodologies and business process modelling.
- Demonstrated ability to define requirements, design, configure, and test software products.
- Knowledge of insurance and/or accounting is an added advantage.
- Experience with the TurnQuest Insurance Suite is an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
