About the role
Micdee Designs Limited is seeking a commercially aware and detail-oriented Procurement Officer. You will be responsible for sourcing materials, furniture, fittings, equipment, and services required for project execution. This role requires a strong understanding of the interior fit-out and design and build industry.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure construction materials, interior finishes, and equipment in line with approved specifications.
- Obtain and analyse quotations, negotiate competitive prices, and recommend suppliers.
- Monitor procurement expenditure against approved project budgets.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders and supplier agreements.
- Coordinate the inspection and verification of delivered materials.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Design teams to understand procurement requirements.
Requirements
- BSc / HND in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience in the interior fit-out or design and build industry.
- Practical knowledge of interior finishes, building materials, and fit-out materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant procurement tools.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-analysis skills.
