About the role
Givanas Group is a multi-business organization operating across West Africa, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services. They are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing activities for their manufacturing operations. This full-time position is based in Apapa, Lagos, and offers a monthly salary of N900,000 to N1,000,000.
Responsibilities
- Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate supplier contracts.
- Collaborate with Production and Planning teams to ensure timely material delivery.
- Monitor supplier quality, delivery performance, lead times, and supply risks.
- Control purchasing costs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Coordinate local and international purchases through to factory delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of sourcing experience in manufacturing, factory, or heavy industrial settings.
- Strong skills in supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and procurement management.
- Practical experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel.
- Ability to interpret bills of materials, technical specifications, and drawings.
- Knowledge of international freight, Incoterms, and import processes.
