About the role
A hospitality company in Lagos is looking for a Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing, supplier relations, and inventory. You will ensure quality goods are delivered on time at competitive prices while identifying cost-saving opportunities. This is a full-time, urgent hire.
Responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with budgets and operational needs.
- Coordinate sourcing of goods, equipment, and services across departments.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with storekeeping teams to prevent shortages.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prepare reports on expenditure, supplier performance, and savings.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CIPS or comparable procurement qualification.
- At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Mandatory experience in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage procurement and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement/stock management systems.
