About the role
We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer to help monitor, optimize, and improve our starch production processes. In this role, you will focus on ensuring product quality, reducing waste, and maximizing productivity.
Responsibilities
- Analyze production data and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and food safety regulations, including HACCP and GMP.
- Identify and solve process problems and production delays.
- Monitor process parameters to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Support the implementation of process and equipment improvements.
- Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency and quality.
- Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for starch production.
- Work closely with production, quality control, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of starch production processes and related equipment.
- B.Sc. / HND in Chemical, Mechanical, Food Science & Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze production data and prepare technical reports.
- Good knowledge of safety and quality standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- 5–10 years’ relevant experience in agro-processing, specifically starch production or a related industry.
Added Advantages:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production/data analysis tools.
- Experience in feed production or other agro-processing operations.
- Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Knowledge of process control, automation, and production monitoring systems.
