About the role
Ikevora (formerly Startup Soar) is looking for a professional and safety-focused Private Driver to join their team in Wuse 2, Abuja. This full-time position requires a candidate who is punctual, discreet, and committed to responsible vehicle handling. The role offers a monthly salary of N150,000, depending on experience, and includes provided accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Transport the employer and authorized passengers safely and on time to all destinations.
- Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness and ensure it remains roadworthy.
- Conduct routine inspections of tyres, brakes, lights, oil, and fuel levels before and after trips.
- Plan efficient routes and stay updated on traffic conditions in Abuja.
- Keep vehicle documents, insurance, and records up to date.
- Monitor servicing schedules and report any mechanical faults or damage promptly.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal and business information.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and road safety requirements.
Requirements
- Valid Nigerian driver’s licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Good knowledge of Abuja roads, particularly Wuse 2 and surrounding areas.
- Ability to use navigation applications such as Google Maps.
- Previous experience as a professional, personal, or corporate driver is an advantage.
- Physically fit, punctual, honest, and professional in conduct.
- Demonstrable knowledge of defensive driving and road safety practices.
- No history of reckless driving or serious road safety violations.
