About the role
TAIDOB College is a government-approved private secondary school located in Goshen Estate, Asero, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Established in 1994, the school provides quality education in a serene environment with modern facilities. We are looking for a dedicated Physics Tutor to join our team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical activities.
- Deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Assess academic performance and provide feedback and support.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior.
- Conduct Physics practicals safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and academic progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school activities.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education/Physics, or a related discipline.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- Good knowledge of the secondary school Physics curriculum.
- Ability to use practical demonstrations and technology to enhance learning.
- Relevant teaching qualification is an added advantage.
