About the role
KAAF Specialist Hospital is a healthcare provider focused on obstetric, gynaecological, and paediatric services. We are looking for a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Yaba, Lagos. This position supports our pharmacists in delivering safe and timely pharmaceutical care to both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with the accurate and safe delivery of pharmaceutical care.
- Perform precise dosage calculations and manage inventory control.
- Track stocks and records using hospital inventory software (IHMS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and administrative staff.
- Ensure accurate dispensing, labeling, and record-keeping in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Valid Practice License issued by the relevant regulatory authority.
- Recognized post-secondary qualification, such as a National Certificate in Education (NCE) or relevant technical certification in Pharmacy Technician studies.
- Prior practical experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and mathematical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in hospital inventory software (IHMS) and Microsoft Excel.
