About the role
Eden Solutions and Resources Limited is seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacist to join their team in Garki, Abuja. As a leading provider of staffing services since 2002, the company aims to deliver quality workforce solutions to clients. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines in accordance with professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
- Review prescriptions to ensure appropriate medication, dosage, and administration.
- Provide professional advice and counselling to patients on medication use, side effects, and possible drug interactions.
- Monitor patients’ medication therapy and promote rational drug use.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper storage of medications.
- Monitor drug expiry dates and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and medication dispensing.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Promote health awareness and educate patients on disease prevention.
- Ensure compliance with professional ethics and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- B.Pharm or Pharm.D from a recognised institution.
- Must be duly registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Must possess a valid practising licence.
- Previous work experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
