About the role
Caronik Security Solutions Limited is seeking a disciplined and vigilant Patrol Supervisor to coordinate security operations in Lagos. You will report to the Operations Manager or General Manager within the Operations department. This full-time position focuses on maintaining guard discipline, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, and responding to security incidents.
Responsibilities
- Train, mentor, and brief guards on security awareness and customer service.
- Supervise guard deployment, posting, and relief schedules.
- Conduct routine and surprise day and night patrols of assigned guard beats.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, distress calls, and security breaches.
- Prepare and submit daily patrol reports with pictures, incidents, and observations.
- Ensure guards are properly kitted, alert, and professional at their duty posts.
- Enforce company rules, discipline, and standard operating procedures.
- Liaise with clients on security matters and maintain good relationships.
- Ensure motorcycles and patrol vehicles are properly maintained and accounted for.
Requirements
- Must be 45 years of age or younger.
- Physically fit and able to work day and night shifts.
- Valid rider’s license and ability to ride a motorcycle (mandatory).
- Resident in Lagos with good knowledge of local routes.
- No criminal record.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Patrol Supervisor or Senior Guard in a reputable security company.
- Minimum of OND / SSCE with proven supervisory experience in private security.
- Strong leadership, report writing, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic smartphone operation for reporting.
