About the role
Smokey Jollof is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead daily restaurant activities in Gbagada Phase 1, Lagos. This part-time position follows a one-day-on, one-day-off schedule, totaling 15 working days per month. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining service quality, and ensuring smooth business operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Manage staff performance, attendance, and productivity.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints promptly.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Handle cash, stock, equipment, and other company resources responsibly.
- Track inventory and report any shortages or operational issues.
- Coordinate staff duties and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Prepare daily operational reports for management.
- Support the team in meeting sales and operational targets.
- Ensure the restaurant is opened and closed according to company procedures.
Requirements
- Age between 30 and 35 years.
- 2–3 years of experience in a Supervisor or higher role in a restaurant, fast-food, or hospitality setting.
- Experience with Smokey Jollof is highly prioritized.
- Experience with reputable brands like Chicken Republic, Sweet Sensation, The Place, Bukka Hut, Mega Chicken, Mama Cass, or KFC is also considered.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for daily operations.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
